On a sad day of loss the entertainment world continues to reel in the aftermath of the worst terrorist action in recorded history. Last Wednesday, studios and TV networks reopened, but Hollywood still struggled to cope with the traumatic attacks on New York and Washington, D.C. All the movie studios tried to pull out all terrorist-themed films from the fall release schedule. And now Warners production scrapped the October 5 release of Arnold Schwarzenegger's "Collateral Damage," and shut down the film's website and recalled all promotional materials. Sorry to say that there still is no release date for this film.
Hollywood has had a lot to deal with ever since this tragic terrorist act on the World Trade Center. Its argument with the United States government in whether is should allow the violence in already upcoming movies to be released to the public. People are really confused on what to do because of the violence rating that will have to be supervised and carefully run through so that some people don't have to watch violence on TV anymore. Or yet have focusing on the type of violence is being showed.

There is not much else Hollywood can do to benefit from this but to make movies of lesser violence and child viewed censorship to at least compensate for
On the other hand, there is too many people here to really decide what should be on television or on the big screen or what shouldn't. People have their own way of thinking and you can't change that. But if the government chooses to force all movies with terrorist violence out for the time being, it is totally understandable. I really don't think that it should stay that way forever. Just meanwhile everything gets cleared and resolved. Because if you rule out some action, some people will simply not watch anymore television. In some ways it is violence that drives us to watch it and go see movies because we all love action films. But because of this trauma, it would be a good idea to push it back a little to calm things down and get settled.
In conclusion, I would like to comment on the fact that Hollywood has done a great job of cooperating with the governments demands for the time being and soon will be back to normal. I believe it will in fact make a turn around when we as a nation have overcome this New War against terrorism and stand united for as long as we all shall
