Right now, at the age of 19, I am a little embarrassed sometimes to admit who my favorite group is. This is because most people would look at me, and say... "But you're 19 years old! You're not supposed to like them." But I can't help is 'N Sync is my favorite bands. I have gone to a few of their converts and have their posters plastered all over my wall. When I first heard their music, I knew that they were always going to be one of my favorites. It just had a way about it that made me want to get up, dance, and sing. This is a tremendously talented group. They have mastered the art of getting a stadium full of people on their feet, dancing to their music. A lot of people are under the impression that the guys are only a hit because they have their good looks, but if that were the case, 'N Sync wouldn't still be around today. 'N Sync has worked hard to make their music what it is today. They are more then just a typical Pop band. They are hear to stay. Many groups use them as a basis for their own work, including O-Town, Eden's Crush, and the new "PopStar's" group, but, in my opinion, none will ever be as good as the original 'N Sync.

Many would think it would be hard to keep going after so much success so soon. But for 'N Sync it was only natural to get even bigger in the year 2001. They were winning awards for "Internet Fans Artist of the Year Award" at the American Music Awards. Some of the guys wanted to use their other talents as well as their vocal talents, so Lance entered the world of being a movie produced with his production company, "A Happy Place." The first file this company is doing, On The Line, will feature both Lance and Joey with the main acting roles.

Acting didn't interrupt their singing careers though, and the group was nominated for 3 Grammy Awards, including Record of the Year, and Best Pop Performance by a Duo with Vocal. They even performed "This I Promise You" at the ceremony. The guys were even able to help induct the "King of Pop" himself Michael Jackson, into the Rock and Roll hall of fame in March. It's a wonder how the group makes time to do everything they do. They are never ending award ceremonies that they are winning awards at. The "No Strings Attached" album was certified 11x platinum and the last awards they won it was 3 Blockbuster Entertainment Awards. These were for Favorite CD, Favorite Pop Group, and Favorite Single ("Bye Bye Bye").

By this time there was no stopping 'N Sync. The won an American Music Award for Best Pop New Artist, and their album was certified 5x platinum. 'N Sync also took home a Blockbuster Award for Favorite New Artist/Group. In September they were nominated for 4 MTV Video Music Awards including: Best Group Video, Best New Artist Video, Best Pop Video, and The Viewer's Choice Award all for "Tearin' Up My Heart."
