Advertisement is a part of everyday life. It is seen and heard all around the world at all times. Also it comes to us in many different forms. Advertisements can be seen in magazines and newspapers and on billboards and television. They can be heard on the radio or television. Sometimes ads may be deceitful, but they are not always illegitimate or deceptive. If every person took the time to think about the advertisements that they see or hear he or she would be able to distinguish whether and ad is legitimate or not.

This ad for Nicole nail lacquer is very colorful. It catches the eye. Pictured in the ad are twelve different bottles of nail polish. The picture is taken very close to the bottles so a person can see the details printed on the labels of the nail polish bottles. On these labels it reads, "Lacquer Pour Les Ongles" (polish for nails) on the first line. Under the first line in bold letters is "Nicole," the product's name.
