Adderall is a prescription drug. It is a stimulant that acts on the central nervous system. Adderall is an amphetamine used to treat ADD (attention Deficit Disorder) and ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder). Adderall and Ritalin are the two drugs used to treat ADD or ADHD.

Before the public was aware that it was used for ADD and ADHD, students at prep schools and high pressure colleges discovered it and used it as an alternative to caffeine, speed, or to just reach a natural high. Adderall is a very strong stimulant.

Adderall comes in two different forms, both available in double- scored tablets but ten and twenty milligrams. The ten-milligram pill is blue and the twenty-milligram pill is pink.
