Approved on September 28th of this year, RU-468, "the abortion pill", became part of the American pharmaceutical arena. The Food and Drug Association, FDA, after years of consideration and testing, now permits practicing abortion providers to provide the abortion pill to their patients, with certain restrictions. By doing this government has allowed women more choices when pregnant, has removed some of the politics out of women's reproductive decisions, and allocated them more privacy overall.
