Macbeth- ambition and hamartea

In the play Macbeth the three witches present the prophasies and apparitions to Macbeth, and Banquo. The apparitions and prophasies convert Macbeth's role from good to evil, they play on Macbeth's hamartea of ambition, and they also confuse Macbeth.

First of all Macbeth's role from good to evil is converted by the three prophasies of the three witches. The three prophasies are Macbeth is the Thane of Glamis, Thane of Cawdor and Macbeth soon to be king of Scotland. When Macbeth was presented with these three prophasies another Thane named Banquo is at his side. Banquo asks if they would have any prophasies for him. The three witches replied Banquo is lesser and greater than Macbeth, Banquo is not really happy but a lot happier, and Banquo would get kings but he will not become one. Macbeth informed his wife of his prophasies. Macbeth and his lady saw that he is already the Thane of Glamis. For defeating and killing Macdawnold (who is a thane), a traitor to Scotland, Macbeth has just been named Thane of Cawdor and he is viewed as the fiercest fighter in

Secondly Macbeth's hamartea of ambition blinds him from seeing where he lye as the new King of Scotland. Instead Macbeth remembers the third and last prophase of Banquo. It was that Banquo would not be king but he shall be the father of kings. The idea that Macbeth will not be the father of kings, really made him jealous and angry of Banquo. Macbeth decides that the best thing to do is to kill Banquo. His hamartea of ambition kills Banquo because of one prophase! Not only did he want to kill Banquo but also Banquo's son Fleance. Fleance manages to escape under the order of his father to go and seek revenge, but Fleance never does. Look at the trouble you got yourself into Macbeth! You have committed murder! You are a traitor!

Third of all Macbeth is confused because he visits the witches and they give him three more prophasies and four apparitions. The three new prophasies he is presented with are to beware of the Thane of Fife, no one that is born from a mother shall kill Macbeth and Macbeth will never be defeated until Great Birnam Wood forest would moves. The four apparitions
