It's something we have all heard many times, but how often do we stop and really think about what a wasteful people Americans are? With so many advantages over smaller countries, we will often take our plentiful resources for granted. Thus, we become very wasteful; maybe even the most wasteful people in the world. Every year, this country produces enough garbage to fill a line of dump trucks all the way to the moon. Can you imagine that? That is a lot of garbage! And we can't help but wonder how much of that was just wasted. And not only that, but we are also wasteful with our money and food as well. If there is anything to be wasted, you can bet that the American people do it.

Today we find ourselves living in a country of fast and easy solutions to everything from family problems to the food we eat everyday... or should I say don't eat?
