A detailed Summary of Antigone
What are the conflicting forces in this play and who is right or wrong?
I found three main conflicts, all of which involves Creon, the kind of Thebes. The first one is Creon vs. Antigone. They argued about her disobeying Creon's orders and how to punish her. I think she was the right one. I came to this conclusion, because I feel that if I was in her position I would hope I would do the same thing she did for her descended brother who did not get a burial or anything at all. The second conflict is Creon vs. his son. They argued about how Creon was punishing Antigone. At one point his son said that Creon would never see or speak to him again.
