Assignment of the Century
There have been many changes over the twentieth century. In the area of humanities there has been drastic changes in the field of art. In the beginning of the century people hadn't heard of abstract art. All of the art that was painted so that the observer had to use minimal thought to appreciate it. In the beginning of the century jazz music was what must people listened to, but as the century progressed rock n' roll then rap music came into its own. There have also been great advancements in the instruments used to create this music. From electric guitars to turn tables, the technology has greatly widened the range of music. In the social science area, history keeps on changing how people look at different situations. With each passing day the American people grow more a where of their surrounds due to past history, and the fear that history might repeat itself. Politics too have taken a change. It's hard to look past the last election and think that the events that took will not change future elections. In the beginning of the century if a person was diagnosed with a disease, it could turn out to be fatal. Where today these diseases are easily cured. Coloning is now possible do to the study of DNA and the advancement in warfare has great surpassed anybody's exceptions. There have been many changes over the twentieth century.
