Big Lleagues

In a part of Brooklyn lived the parents of a young man by the name of Austin. Although some parts of Brooklyn are very up scale Mr. and Mrs. Cadwell wanted what all parents want for their children and that is to grow up in the best area possible being they say we are a product of our environment. The Cadwell's moved to a town in eastern Long Island so their only son would have the opportunity to grow up in the fashion they always wanted. The school district was the best in the country. The neighborhood was a very classy with no house smaller than five thousand square feet not to mention located atop a bluff overlooking the water. The big move took place in the middle of the summer allowing time to settle in, make friends and prepare for the school year that begun in September. Austin had everything going for him accept for his own identity, he only had what his parents desired.

September soon approached and the time to go to school was right around the corner. The kids on the block were looking forward to seeing everyone again all accept Austin who had to go through the challenging task of being the new kid in school, those who had done that before can understand the feeling. It wasn't so bad for Austin he h


High school was right around the corner and Austin had an idea that would not only impress his father but do something for himself so he kept it to himself. Austin continued through high school, he was hanging out with a crowd his father disapproved of, but what his father did not know is that Austin was working every day to perfect the talent he was given as a ball player. He was doing all this behind his dad's back because he knew his dad's obsession with him playing and new it would tear them apart, like it did back in grade school. Now things were different he was fully matured had an identity of his own other then one his father wanted him to be and a talent he knew would now make the J.V. coach spin. Back in grade school the J.V. coach would constantly belittle him as a player, he would sit him every chance he got and never gave me the opportunity so succeed. He knew I Could. Austin's talent was constantly improving, The tryouts for the varsity team was weeks away and he was mentally and physically superb his left arm was a rocket, and a rocket that know one has seen yet not even his dad actually his dad figured he gave the game up.
