Martin Luther King Jr., while serving as the president of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference, went to Birmingham to undertake in a nonviolent organization against racial discrimination. While organizing the group with a few of his co-workers they are thrown in jail. Birmingham is one of the leading cities for racial discrimination. Martin Luther states that he would like to send the gospel of freedom further than his home town. He also explains that a wrong anywhere is defiance to justice anywhere.
