When I came home from college one day, I randomly decided to get my tongue pierced. I had wanted it for a long time and I knew my mom wouldn't allow me to have it done, so I went through with it without her permission. I waited till I was the legal age of 18 in order to get it done. That night, I went back to my house and although my tongue was very swollen, nobody noticed. The only reason why my older sister noticed is because I yelled at her. I think that I wanted her to notice so I could see her reaction. My younger brother found out later that week and to my surprise, he did not tell my mother.
