Capital punishment is the just way to punish criminals for crimes. The Bible states that capital punishment be imposed for crimes such as murder, kidnapping, and witchcraft ("Capital Punishment" 123). "Whoso sheddeth man's blood by man shall his blood be shed" (Genesis 9:6). If the Bible states that capital punishment must be imposed, then it should not be questioned. There are three appropriate times when capital punishment should be used ("Particular Crimes" 230). When murder is committed for profit, to include robberies, kidnappings, and killings for hire; when murder is committed while institutionalized whether involving staff or another prisoner

That is why society must execute criminals who are in prison for murders and other hideous crimes. Everyone in society would be able to relax knowing that murderers will be put to death and not back out in society ("Life Imprisonment" 240).

Crime is a problem in our society. There is only one way to solve gruesome crimes. That is to enforce capital punishment because it will eliminate murderers. Capital punishment is the most effective way to deal harsh crimes. Criminals will think twice before they commit a crime ("Degradation" 351). If criminals know what will happen as a result of what they do, capital punishment will keep them from committing crimes. It is proven that the enforcement of capital punishment has caused crimes that are committed to decrease substantially ("Support" 349). The criminals know what the term means and they will think before they act. It is proven that criminals will with draw from committing a crime if they know that they will be put to death for a crime that he or she is going to commit ("Degradation" 351). This is true
