As far as I can remember, the first time I experienced cheating was in my tenth grade history class. This seems like a rather long time to go in school without experiencing any cheating, but the work we were given before this point wasn't very challenging, so there never was a reason to cheat. I'm sure there had been a time or two before then, but this is one time that really sticks out in my memory.
The first time I experienced cheating was during finals week in the tenth grade. I had a world history exam coming up, which was going to be very hard. It was made up of one hundred multiple-choice questions. The good part was that it was multiple-choice. On the other hand, there were one hundred questions. The school day started off normal. I got to school and went to my two classes in the morning. Then, it was time for lunch. As I was sitting in lunch, I notice
The next thing I knew, I was walking into class hoping that the answers I had learned to recite, one through one hundred, were the answers to the questions on the sheets of paper our teacher was about to hand out. I received the test and immediately looked at the first question. To my, and everyone else's luck, it was the same test. I checked the second question to be sure. Once again, it was the right answer. I then started pacing myself, reading every question and the possible answers to assure that I wouldn't finish the test in ten minutes and make it obvious that there was cheating taking place. I did finish a little early, not much though.
The next day we received our tests back. To many people's surprise, we had received one hundreds. Well, it wasn't really surprising. I didn't feel guilty about cheating. Most people would if they had the chance. Howe
