Within rehearsals, we work as a team to make it all happen. We each pull our own share to make sure that we look the best that we possibly can on stage. If everyone does what they are supposed to, when we perform, it turns out to be a huge success.

In this performance, "Causing A Commotion," I had a solo called "Water." This piece was very difficult considering fabric was used. Certain circumstances made it only possible for this piece to be learned at a date late into rehearsals. I was honored to be told that the Artist director and choreographer felt they could rely on

This past performance, as I was learning my solo, I was put under pressure because of the late notice. Another example would be when a student is asked to demonstrate a combination for the class. Having everyone's eyes on you creates a feeling of being under pressure. As a college student I may be put under pressure weather it be academically or socially. This will not be a problem though because I am used to it and work well when under pressure.

Cooperation in dance comes about when we are asked to do something and we follow directions and do it. Almost as if our instructor is our boss and we are working for him/her. This will follow through to college and help me to do the assignments I am assigned and do well academically. I t will then follow into the working world and will be very helpful.

Competition is a huge part of the dance field. When a dancer goes to auditions for companies, or even when taking a class, competition is involved. Everyone wants to be the best and this will be how it will possibly be in the future when working.
