David Copperfield

The book that I am reading is David Copperfield, who is written by Charles Dickens, and the book has 238 pages. Publishers and Waldman Publishing Corp published it. The setting of David Copperfield was in London during the 1800's. This book is a fiction.

The story is told from the first person (David Copperfield). The literary devices used in the story were plot, characterization, setting, point of view, climax, conflict, Imagery, symbolism, and mood. The characterization of David Copperfield was very powerful throughout his lifetime. David orphaned as a child; abandoned by his stepfather Mr. Murdstone. He was always a kind and hearted kid. He never meant wrong; he was only growing up and learning well from bad. When David set eyes on Emily he was always touched by the love he had for her.

o owned the house, Peggotty was the lady's name. David went with Peggotty to go and visit her Brother and his two orphaned kids in Yarmouth in a house that looks like a ship that is upside down. David's eyes were set on a small little girl named Emily; she is an orphan girl too. Miss Peggotty and David returned home to find that his mom had married Mr. Murdstone, which now is David's new dad. David was taken to London where he was going to be taught. Mr. Mell one of the masters at Salem House, the school he was going to attend. When David came back he found that his Mother and brother died. Now Seventeen Years old and on his way to London to find a career that David was going to become.
