Death Penalty

Jesus says "For if you forgive others for their transgressions, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others, then your Father will not forgive your transgressions" (Mathew 6:14-15). Therefore, if you do not forgive the murderer for his sin then God will not forgive you. I would be very mad at him but hopefully I would eventually be able to forgive him if he was truly sorry for what he did. Killing him would not bring back my best friend so I do not see any reason to have another person killed.

What's more shouldn't the people performing the death penalty also be killed because they murdered another human? Killing another person will ju
