Death Penalty

The argument for the death penalty would suggest that one who has murdered an innocent individual should not be allowed to live. Often times, those who commit murder sit in prison and watch television, play cards, or go outside to play games such as basketball with other inmates. After being beat, the young boy was raped for hours. Johnson died at the hands of an evil person. It is clear that by using the death penalty this can begin to heal the wounds of the family. The family no longer has to worry about what Williams is capable of, simply because they know he cannot harm anyone again. This is all the closure the family needs.
