Dell vs Compaq

Dell computers are probably a better buy for the money. Dell's unique direct-to-customer approach cuts out the middleman, hence passing the savings on to the customer. I would believe that Dell also has better product quality just based on the fact that each computer is built to order instead of Compaq's mass production of the same computer. Delivery speed is really quicker when going through a reseller because you can go get your computer right when you buy it. With Dell you order it and have to wait until it is delivered to your house. With Compaq delivery
