Like Superman, we hide under a false identity. An identity that is based upon our chracteristics that we are, or would like to be known for. Often we feel we have to mask our true identity from society. We hide our feelings, our thoughts, our true passions, so as not to break apart from this norm that we as a society of self-conscience beings, create out of fear. Fear of embarrassment and fear of being ridiculed for our feelings. As a result, many of us keep our identity behind a secret-identity, behind a typical lifestyle and typical characteristics.
