The Industrial Revolution was a major change in European history. There weremany technological advances that helped it move along, and progress as much as it did. The technological advances such as iron and coal led to many inventions that changed society drastically during the Industrial Revolution. Before the Industrial Revolution took place in Europe there was a thing called the domestic system. This was the yearly things that a family had to do to survive. For example the father of a family would have his daughters and other siblings knit blankets, make brooms, Etc. He would sell them each year and get supplies to make them for the next year. This all changes when the technological advances of the Industrial Revolution took place. The main things that were a huge part of the Industrial Revolution were iron and coal.
