Mary, Mother of Jesus

Mary and Joseph lived in Nazareth, when the Romans came to report that every Jewish man and his family must go back to his birth town and register. The next day the Lord's angel told Mary that she would rule over the house of David, and have a son named Jesus. This angel also told Mary that her sister Elizabeth was pregnant. Mary thought the whole situation was a dream because Elizabeth was past her child-bearing years, until she visited her, Mary did not tell Joseph the reason for her journey. The next day Maria Magdalene went to Jesus' tomb, but he wasn't there. She thinks that someone has taken him away, but the Lord tells her that Jesus is still alive. Being that Mary was the mother of Jesus the disciples now call her their mother too. Mary always believed what her son expressed.

Eighteen years later in Nazareth, Joseph is dying. "Everything he is you made him" Joseph tells Mary "you were everything to me" he says on his deathbed. Zechariah said that his son john would be a prophet, Mary tells this to Jesus. Mary and Jesus are going to go see john so that john can baptize Jesus. John is in the river telling people that Jesus is the chosen one. John baptizes both Mary and Jesus. Jesus needs to bring people to God and show them his love. Jesus goes into the des
