Miracles of the Bible
What are miracles? A miracle may be defined as a concrete breakthrough from the invisible, supernatural world into our own visible, natural world. The ultimate source of the miracle is when the creator, God, created the Universe and dwells above us. He is transcendent, yet he is free at any time to enter into our world and within each of us. To understand miracles, one must understand God. You have to believe in his existence and his interest in each one of our lives; but most important relationships with him. This relationship arises within a part of your heart to full commitment with the Lord. It seems as though people today feel comfortable with the world they live in and don't want to go that extra step in accommodating the thought of the supernatural or God. But the longer we live the more we start realizing that the natural world has little permanence and that one true reality of eternity is that found in the invisible world of God. Jesus told the servants to fill them up all the way to the rim with water. He then told the servant to draw some water out and take it to the man in charge of the feast. As the man took a drink, the water had turned to wine. The man responded stating the best wine was saved for last. This was the first miracle in Cana in Galilee. The sailors decided to draw lots in order to see who was to blame for this terrible storm. Jonah's name was drawn. As the storm was becoming worse, the sailors thew Johan overboard into the sea. At the Lord's command Jonah was swallowed by a very large fish. He was inside that fish for three days and three nights. Jonah prayed to the Lord. Then the Lord ordered the fish to spit Jonah up on the beach. God has performed many miracles and I am going to re-introduce some of them from the old and New Testament of the bible. There are several stories of the great miracles performed by God in the Old Testament. Likewise, in the New Testament. The remaining stories are from the New Testament performed by Jesus Christ, Son of God.
