This essay will explain all about how Czars or Russia and Karl Marx and if they did lead to the Russian Revolution. The Czars of Russia and Karl Marx did help lead to the Russian Revolution. Ivan the great, Ivan the terrible, Karl Marx, Friederich Engle and Lenin all helped contribute to the Russian Revolution of 1971. The immediate cause of the Russian revolution was the of the Czar regime. The underlying cause was the poor economic condition of the country, which made it unable to hold up against Germany. Russian industry lacked the capacity to arm, equip, and supply the same 15 million men who were sent into the war. Factories were few and insufficiently productive and the railroad network as inadequate. Karl Marx, a German political philosopher and revolutionist, cofounder with Friedrich Engles of scientific socialism. He was born in Trier on 1818 and died on 1883. In the years that Karl Marx lived he would change Russia forever. Even though he could not of done what he did with out Friedrich Engles. When Engles visited Karl Marx in Paris on 1844 the two men found that they had independently come up with identical views on nature of revolutionary problems. Sometime after Ivan The Great, which was really Ivan III Vasilyevich, came Ivan The Terrible, which was Ivan IV Vasilyevich. Ivan The Terrible was a greedy man that only cared for himself. He was born on 1530 and happily died in 1584. He was a one Russia's most brutal ruler ever. Ivan kept an eye over the vast expansion of his country and then brought it to near ruin. Ivan also expanded a program to increase government ownership and control of land. In 1556 Ivan exerted control over the boyars and princes who still held private lands in Muscovy by requiring then and their personal slave solders to serve in the cavalry as well. Even though Ivan was doing these things for no better purpose other then for him self. With out him maybe the Russian revolution 1917 would not come about. By forcing then into "services class" Ivan took away the Russian nobility's independently. The country's vast lower class, which were the peasants, also saw their part in social society, worsens during the period of which Ivan The Terrible ruled. The system gradually turned many peasants into serfs, which were bond to the lad they titled.
