St. John
St. John the Evangelist, was the youngest of the twelve apostles. He and his brother James, another apostle, were raised in Galilee with their mother Salome. Salome may have been the sister of the Virgin Mary, which would make John and Jesus cousins. John's father was Zebedee, and Zebedee taught John and his brother to be fishermen, as he was.
