Sir Winston Churchill was born on November 30, 1874 in Oxfordshire, England. He graduated from Royal Military College and then, in 1908, he went off to marry the love his life. In 1911, Prime Minister Herbert de Asquich appointed churchill first lord of admiralty and he then resigned in 1918. In 1940, he became Prime Minister of Great Britain. While still in the position of Prime Minister, Sir Winston Churchill was knighted adn won the Nobel Prize of Literature. In 1950, Churchill was made an honorary citizen of the United States. He also retired from the House of Command in 1964. Sir Winston Churchill passed away at the age of 91.
