The Industrial Revolution vs. the quality of life of the British citizens

Did the Industrial Revolution improve the quality of life for the British citizens? I believe that yes, the Industrial Revolution did in fact have a great improvement in the quality of life of the British citizens. The improvements from the Industrial Revolution were in the economical, social and aesthetical ways of life. This is what helped the citizens live life in a more applicable way, then know to man before hand.

Economically, the Industrial Revolution improved the qualities of life in the following manners. By the 1800s the need for good transportation also led to the development of the railroad industry. In 1829, George Stephenson developed the first steam-powered locomotive. Communication was improved within the nations and also across the world through the productions of railroad and steamships.

As stated above, I still believe that the Industrial Revolution modified the quality of life of the British citizens. It did in so many ways such as, the way they changed their life economically, socially as well as aesthetically. Which all definitely improved their ways of life.

A new social structure was one of the social ways the British improved their qualities of life. During the 1800s, middle class increased and challenged the aristocrats in wealth and power. Then the new middle class changed into a larger middle class which included more types of professional people in it also. Then the wealthy p
