The Mustang

A detailed Summary of The Mustang

Imagine yourself zipping in and out of traffic, wind in your hair, the smell of gas, people looking to see who's coming. Its me, owner of a nineteen sixty-five ford mustang with a three fifty-one Cleveland engine, bucket seats, and a weiand supercharger; not to mention my Cragen wheels, home to a pair of B.F. Goodrich 295-50-15 tires in the back, and 150-60-15 tires in the front. Yep the best car ever made.

The Mustang was invented by a man named Lee Iacocca in 1964. Iacocca invented the mustang with this thought "we wanted to develop a car that you can drive to the country club on Friday night, to the drag strip on Saturday, and to church on Sunday" I believe that Iacocca fulfilled his goal and many American's dreams. Now I could sit here and quote road tests and mechanics all day, would I convince you? Maybe, but i'm going to try something else. Imagine if you will, pulling up to a stoplight next to another guy who thinks he's bad. You give him a little rev....he revs right back at you. You guys exchange a little glance, but then straight back to the red light. You are tense, but ready to show this guy a thing or two about racing. Your heart starts pounding as you see the opposite light turn yellow. Any second now it will be time to go. Sweat is starting to bead up on your forehead; and the light is green, stomp on it! You guys start out close together for about fifty feet, then you hear the secondaries open up on the other guys carburetor, and he speeds passed you, never looking back until he is out of sight. But hey, at least you were comfortable as you got your ass kicked. Maybe you thought I was going to let you picture winning the race. No way. You can't beat my mustang. Nobody can. Let this be a lesson to you, and all those other people who like new cars. Why is it that old people listen to old people
