Also, the effects of Reconstruction was now dying down and America needed many legislation of reform. The Progressive Movement was brought on by President Theodore Roosevelt (1902-1907). Before the executive branch took on a more lazze-fare attitude toward their position. However, the beginning of the 20th century, the Progressive Movement became extremely popular because of the many reforms and jobs created by this movement, thus being one of the greatest period in American history.
