Everyone needs to look around at his or her life and be thankful for what they have. I am thankful for many things even though sometimes I do not show it. I am especially thankful for my friends, my computer, and my school.

I think friends have played a very important role in my life. During my life I have had many friends. They come and go but without them I do not know what I would do. Friends are always there for each other even through the tough times. Friends always stand behind each other through important times in life. My friends and I usually get along all of the time. My friends and I go out or do something nearly everyday of the week. All of my friends have different interests. Some of my friends like to play golf, tennis, paintball, or video games. It is a great chance to meet new people in our neighborhood. I have also got involved in the youth group at our church with some of my friends. Church has become a big part in my life since I started High School. I have always gone to a church and just sat there and drew on the offering envelopes to pass the time. This past year church has changed though. I go almost every Sunday and have a great time. I have gone on many trips and retreats and they are very fun. The golf course gives juniors a discount so we can play more often. That is good for me and my friends because I spend the majority of my summer at the golf course or at the pool. Our community has very little crime and a lot of fun. That is why I am thankful for my community.
