Some say a dream; not the type one has when they're asleep, the kind one would have in reference to their life goals; can destroy one's life, I beg to differ. Without at least one dream, what would one be trying to do when they step out of their house everyday to enter the real world? The answer is nothing. That is why we must have one. A dream gives a person a sense of guidance or something to achieve. A dream is the strength in one's life, yet, it does not going to control what one does.
The mental possession of a dream is all one needs to make it through each day. Such conditions as depression are resulted from the lack of a dream. This is do to the person feeling that they have no life purpose. That is why sick people, or people who have extremely weak

conditions tend to consider suicide. It's not due to the pain. They feel abnormal. Just as someone who does not have a dream should feel abnormal. Everybody has at least one dream, the person who does not have one is the oddball.
When my dad came to the U.S. in the 60's he wanted to go to Princeton or Yale really bad. He had dreamed of those schools every since he had heard about them in grade school while he was in India. He did not get into either school. He went to Rutgers, every year he would re-apply to Princeton and Yale. He did not get it. His last year for him to get his Ph.
