Changes in Family Structure
Our view on what a family is has changed drastically throughout the last five decades. From the traditional "Nuclear" family of Mom, Dad, Son, and Daughter of the fifties, to today's model of a scattering of relatives all over the country and even the world, we have seen several versions of the idea of a family. Today's family usually consists of one parent and a child or two, with the other parent living somewhere else.
