The history of the Anheuser-Busch story is very interesting. It all started in 1860 when a business man named Eberhard Anheuser first financed a loan for a struggling local brewery and later bought up the interests of minority creditors. His son-in-law, Adolphus Busch joined the company as a salesman four years later. Over time, Adolphus became a partner and then president of the company. Adolphus is given credit as founder of the company for he was the driving force that took a folding brewery company and transformed it into a beer industry giant.

Adolphus Busch had a idealized dream and vision of creating a beer market and beer that would appeal to just about anybody's taste. To live this dream, he established a network of railroad icehouses to keep railcars full of beer being shipped long distances. Through this he steam headed the beer industry's first fleet of refrigerated freight railcars. To ensure beer's freshness wherever it was consumed, Adolphus Busch pioneered in the use of pasteurization.

Carl Conrad collaborated with Adolphus Busch to create a new brand of beer, they called it Budweiser. Budweiser is the number one selling brand in the world. Twenty years later, Adolphus Busch ca

The company's family entertainment subsidiary is one of the largest adventure park operators in the United States, with parks located throughout the United States.
