There are some positives that come out of home schooling your child. The positive advantages of home schooling is there is one on one help available at all times instead of being in a crowded class room and the child is in a safe and protective environment and knows that mom or dad is close by. The child will also have a chance to develop a good relationship with their parent by having the chance to spend time and interact with their parent much more than the normal child who is away from their parent during the day.

I think that there are many disadvantages of not allowing your child to attend public school.

I could have interviewed the parents of the children to find out how they interact with their children at home. I could have asked how much schoolwork the child does a day compared to those children in a public school to see if that has an affect on the child's cognitive ability

Some strengths that this experiment has are that when I conducted it, I had the two different groups come into the same setting to see if they could come together and interact. I think that this was a better way of conducting this experiment rather than bringing in a few children from each setting and testing them or just asking them a few questions. Another strength is that I had a blind observer come in and view the children so that I could get an accurate grade on the children, rather than I doing the grading and having assumptions of each child before the experiment.

To address these questions I would conduct an experiment to see if there is a decrease in the social level of children who have been home schooled compared to those in public schools. To find out if there is a difference I would take a thousand kids divide them into two groups, A group and B group, one being the controlled group and the other the experiment group.
