Society greatly shapes the characteristics of males and females in todays world. Males are expected to be strong, unemotional leaders protecting the weak and sensitive female. Right from the start colors, parents and toys all take part in creating this stereotype.

Stereotypes are taught to children the moment they are born. The first thing parents do is limit the selection of colors their child can wear.
