The Mountain People
Once upon a time, there was a mountain that grew out of a large green forest. And in this forest there were lakes, rivers, streams, rocks, and trees. And in this forest, near the base of this giant mountain there was a large open field of the greenest grass you had ever seen. And in the middle of this large, green field there was and oasis that ran water through at all hours of the day. And at the edges of this plain, at the base of the mountain, there were caves, in which lived the inhabitants of this small village. They were all very humble and quiet people who all worked to better the commonwealth of their society. And every Spring, when the blossoms began to blossom, the people of this great city would come out of their caves and gather around the oasis, and worship the writings of their god, who had lived on top of the great mountain. Or they had though so, for no one had ever seen him. His name was Sebastian. His writings had led the mountain people to thousands of years of peace and tranquillity, until that one day when the traveler came to the village of Zdogku. The travelers' name was Mikesh. The mountain people were so excited to finally meet an outsider, that they accepted him into thei
r village and made him a companion. And after many years of Mikesh following and studying the culture of the mountain people of Zdogku, Mikesh began to enslave them, and he stole the writings of Sebastian. Then mountain people were shocked, but because of the many years of peace and tranquillity they did not know how to fight Mikesh and he soon appointed himself to be the King of Zdogku. So after many years of enslavement, the mountain people began to be curious as to why their leader Sebastian had not interfered with the wrong doings of Mikesh. Then after months and months of thinking as to how the mountain people can over throw Mikesh, one brave warrior named Izekiel plotted and overthrow of Mikesh to restore peace in the village of Zdogku. This was not to be, for a s Mikesh had found out of Izekiel's plan and threatened the burning of the book, in which the mountain people had adored so much. So Izekiel called off his plan to attack Mikesh. This was not enough however to satisfy the evil Mikesh. He had realized that he was in danger, so he had hidden the book, so if anyone had tried to kill him, the book would be lost forever. The people of Zdogku knew this so they had to be much more precise in their overthrow of the evil government that Mikesh had set up. So the mountain people had to live amongst slavery for the next fifty years. When Godcheaux was born, the son of Izekiel. Godcheaux was born as without the ability to see or communicate, like the rest of the mountain people had. He only could write with his magic finger. This was a fascinating concept seeing as no one in all of Zdogku knew how to write at all and the only piece of writing ever seen by the eyes of a mountain person were the writings of Sebastian. Many people doubted the magic Godcheaux, claiming that it was just a coincidental or that of a mistake, because he could not speak at all. Mikesh secretly feared Godcheaux, for he had once come to Mikesh in a dream and predicted the end of the tyranny that was going on in Zdogku. He predicted that Mikesh would meet Godcheaux in person, and when Mikesh had made eye contact with Godcheaux, Mikesh would turn to water and seep away through the ground and into the underworld. The underworld was a place that people would go to if they had disobeyed the writings and teachings of Sebastian. Even though Mikesh did not believe in Seba
