Why do naturalized citizens often make better American citizens than those who are born in America? People that come to this country from another are more patriotic then those born in America. They are also more respectful of the country. There are many reasons why this is so. One reason is because they are proud of their new country. Their old country might not have had as many jobs or might have been at war. The government in their country might have been evil or cruel. In America there are better and more jobs then their original country. The government elsewhere might be fairer or more equal. Some people might have came because they just like what America looks like. They might want to respect the country that accepted them because of these reasons.
The people that came to the country wanted to become citizens. To do this they must learn a lot of things about America. They have to learn to speak English. Also they must learn the constitution and many things about America. Once they are citizens they can get employed and do work. The immigrants could make more money then in their old country.
People that are born in America take it for granted. They do not have to learn everything about America as naturalized citizens. American citizens sometimes are not as patriotic or like their country as much as immigrants to this country.
