A vehicle-driven society - written toward an alien

Miles of concrete, piles of rubber tires, and tons of useless metal and plastic; these are the remains of a vehicle-driven society. The automobile started out small and in few numbers, and grew larger and to many. There are many parts that make an automobile work properly. The automobile was used to transport people from one location to another. The vehicle was a faster mode of transport, as opposed to walking or running. The vehicle was used for many other things as well.

There had to be miles of concrete for the automobile to travel upon. Most designs of automobiles were not built to travel on the unpaved earth. There are piles of rubber tires because the tires only would last on average


The first automobiles were small in size and manufactured in very few quantities. After a few years they started to make automobiles cheaper and larger, which eventually led to about every person owning an automobile. There are many key parts to an automobile that it needs to have to run such as: the engine, brakes, axels, a transmission, tires, a frame, an exhaust system, and many more. The engine was what supplies the power; the engine does this by combustion. The power is converted to torque by the transmission, which also switch's which gear you are the vehicle is in (if it is an automatic).
