It is a shocking and scary view of the future from a writer in the 1940's.This book tells of a society which is ruled by fear and ignorance, where "Big Brother" is the government is always watching you, and ruling you subconscioulsy.Orwell wrote this as a warning against the comon persons bvecoming complacent and overly tusting in their leaders. What I learned from this book, is that what happens in this fictional novel, can easily happen to our present day community.Governments lie to us today, so why couldn't they attemp to alter the past like
