To Love is to die a little in the heart

For when you love, can you be sure you're love?

You give so much, so little you get back

The moon burns pale, blooms fade, the soul's bereared

To love is a poem which is written by Xuan Dieu who is considered the very well-known poet in Vietnam. His poems are extremely creative and new that made the literature of Vietnam revival after dying a long time. He had a lot of books which are translated to many languages all around the world. Moreover, in his poem, we can see the thrist for love, the thrust for live to enjoy the beautiful world such as: flowers, fruits, and etc... although the life is evil and cheating. In conclusion, "To Love" is one of my favorite poem of Xuan Dieu which gives us the valuable advice it in love. All of above explications are not the whole ideas which I would like to maintain. However, it really gives me a strong feeling to relate to my life about "to love". It's a very good poem to bring people the general definition of love as well.

In the second stanza, the writer uses the "alliteration" tow sentences: "for when you love, can you be sure you're love". These two sentences seem to be the main ideas of the poem that he would like to describe. Right here, he also used the "metaphor" to describe our heart like the "moon turn pale" or blooms fade". Two images draw the sadness, sorrow and grief of the soul dying little by little even if the earth is moving continuously vary with the time.
