I failed to pursue a teaching career after attending college because I found work easily within the corporate world. Having established myself in the world of business and having enjoyed a degree of financial success, I have had much time for soul-searching and lately discovered that I am deriving little in terms of deep inner fulfillment from the corporate world. On the other hand, the corporate world taught me loads of lessons and expanded my personal and professional horizons. I don't regret any of the decisions I made and yet the world of business failed to offer a deep sense of satisfaction. The choice to change careers is thus a natural one, and education is the only avenue that I hope to pursue. In particular, I want to teach at the elementary school level.
