Revolutionary War essay
During the Revolutionary War, both the British and Americans spent a great deal of effort in an attempt to resolve the conflict in their favor. From any historian's view, the question of exactly how the outnumbered and outclassed American forces won the war easily arises. Analysis of the conflict leads to the conclusion that the Americans took advantage of British ignorance, arrogance, and inflexibility to outwit their foe on and off the battlefield. This theory leads me to agree with the argument that British did more to loose the war than the Americans did to win. The first blows the British struck against themselves came before what is traditionally considered to be the Revolutionary War. The British made many faulty decisions that made them a common enemy to all of the colonists, such as firing at the Boston Massacre and refusing to repeal all of the duties they had imposed upon the colonists.
