Feminists 2
Women have a disease, a disease that will prevent them from ever achieving political, social or economic greatness. This "disease" is the need for independancy and self-respect or the lack there of. This is what we have come to know as feminism. Understand that the need for independany and self-respect isn't a real disease, I just used disease as a metaphor for how women go about trying to achieve them. "For nearly one hundred and fifty years women have fought for equality and been oppressed by men, and no matter what they do, they will never be considered equals." The preceding was what feminists and historians want us to believe, however, this is not always the case and, quite possibly, it has never been the case. This is the purpose of my essay, to prove that society has changed for women...women have not changed for society. And that this feminism thing is a load of crap. Women of today have not fought for anything, they have simply protested their demands and expected society to cater to them. This will continue to be true for as long as society takes sympathy upon women and their "needs." For some reason feminism became an international phenomenon. Women everywhere wanted
It's ironic how much women fought for, just to have it swept away by a bunch of babbling bimbos from the 80's and 90's. Actually, it's not even ironic...it's just plain sad. Susan B. Anthony was thrown in jail trying to earn the right to vote, but now,, women just hop in line to vote, taking everything for granted. Susan B. Anthony would be furious if she saw what women are doing today. You know, the thing about it is, women only appreciate this right, when it is brought to their attention. But do they feminists of today thank their ancestors everyday? No. Do you ever hear the pop-feminists talk about what Susan Anthony went through? No, you only hear about their precious needs and desires. I have news for them...I don't care and quite frankly, I'm sick of hearing about it. . Lucy Stone was another pioneer of women's rights, and I don't think she would approve of what women do with their rights. It is because of women like Lucy Stone and Susan B., that women are allowed to do what they do today. Look at the history here, during the past hundred years, women have experienced several remarkable changes in their lifestyles. Many of these changes are due, in large part, to the acts of several different women. These women fought for many important things, such as; the right to vote, equality, and pay wages in the work place.
