Religion Ethical or Iniquitous
What I am going to say will offend most people, as I plan to be blunt. I think that most Religions are shams. It is obviously something, like Myths, made to explain the world. Humans have feared death and the unexplained since we first walked the earth. So we search for a simple explanation, which in turn lead to religions. But certain religions, such as Christianity, are as corrupt as the people considered evil in these very religions. It's the ultimate hypocrisy. An example that I can think of right off the top of my head is something I saw when I was flipping through the channels on TV. I happened to pass the bible channel and there was this show on. I was curious and I left it on this show for a few seconds. They were talking about the Bible, and what I heard baffled me. They were talking about a passage in the book of Leviticus. A man of Egyptian and Israeli descent was passing through an Israeli camp. He happened to make a remark about God and they sentenced him to death by stoning. This appalled me. Another thing that really offends me are individuals and groups that try and force their beliefs on other people. Take the Jehovah Witnesses for example. They come to your house, which is private property, usually against the owners will. Talk to you for a lengthy amount of time trying to make you believe what they do, even if your already a member of another religious group. This isn't right, in fact it isn't constitutional. How is that you say? Well, the first amendments gives all United States citizens the freedom of religion. No one, and I mean no one can force you to believe anything you do not choose to. To further specify on this topic, lets talk about Christians in general. They went throughout the world spreading their beliefs to everyone they came across, even if they already had their own religion. If anyone opposed them, they were either exiled or killed. This is not proper human behavior! These kind of conflicts can turn out to be the deadliest and most violent in the world. What comes to mind when on this subject is War World II.
