By the age of 18, young people will have viewed an estimated two hundred thousand acts of violence on television. There is violence in society because we are surrounded by violence and it may occur in our daily life through; domestic violence, school violence and television.Firstly, for many, violence occurs right at their home and within their family. Secondly, the issue of school has been around for decades. Today the possibility that disagreement among students will be settled with some type of weapon rather than the old-fashioned fistfight. Peer pressure is the most disturbing cause of acts of violence, because they will think that all their friends are doing it, why shouldn't they be doing it too.
