The United States of America is known as the country of freedom and opportunity. In today's society, many Americans are abusing their right of freedom. In our governmental system, welfare has become a problem. Hard working American tax dollars are being used to help unemployed people to live modestly and some live extremely well. Unemployed Americans have grown dependent on welfare. They don't try to find a job to support their family. This problem is growing rapidly every year and a solution needs to be quickly found.

The welfare program is important for many people. The purpose of welfare is to assist people who are jobless or can't make ends meet financially. However, many people take advantage of this system because there are n


Another solution would be to offer courses on how to budget money and on the job training. These courses will teach people how to handle their money and learn the meaning of working for a living. The unemployed will understand how to be responsible for themselves and their financial situation. The pro would be that the unemployed persons would get off of welfare quicker to make a living. The con would be that taxpayer's money would now be used to pay the instructors for educational and training classes.
