meal

Image having a good day at work, and you come home and you think of how well the day went. Well, have you ever sat back and thought about that same day but thought of it in a negative way? One can take a setting and look at it in two different perspectives. I'm going to give you an example of this.

I had just finished baseball practice and was ready for a warm meal from the meal exchange downstairs. I first return to my room and throw on some shorts and a fresh smelling shirt. Then I headed down to eat. On the way down, I met up with some guys and they came down to join me. We get there and we decide that we are going to have pizza. I ordered two freshly baked pepperoni pizzas and a large Coke. The food was made quickly and was given to us as soon as it was ready. We sat down to eat at a clean squared table. The pizza tasted great. It was made just the way I like it, a bunch of pizza sauce that tasted like it was right from the factory, and lots of pepperonis that tasted excellent. The room was like a fall day, nice and cool, and the people in there were happy and talkative. There were people in the game room having a wonderful time playing pool and ping-pong, and everyone was just having a great time.

In the positive perspective the reader was led to believe that the scene of the meal was an enjoyable one. The reader felt that the food was good and the surroundings were very comfortable. On the other end, the negative side, the reader was led to believe that the meal was awful and not enjoyable. The reader felt that the meal and the surroundings were very bad. Both have the same surroundings, people, and food, but had been shown in two different perspectives.

After we finished our food, we decided to get some ice cream to cap off the dinner. I ended up getting vanilla ice cream with chocolate sprinkles. The ice cream was really runny and the sprinkles were old and hard. It did not taste very good either. After that, we all decided to head up to the room to play the playstation. On the way up to the room, the stairway was dark and you could not see. Someone had shut the lights off, and there was a scary feeling as we headed up the stairs. The railing made screeching sounds when you held on to it. When we got to the room, the hall still had the awful smell of body oder in it. Then we all went to the room and played the playstation for a while.

ere done with our pizza, we decided to get some ice cream to cap off the meal. I ended up getting vanilla ice cream with chocolate sprinkles, and it was really good. After the ice cream we headed back up to the rooms to play the playstation. It was really fun.
