Polution. It is an obvious problem in our world today. What is polution? Well it's a number of things, it's the exaust from our cars, our burger wrappers from Mcdonald's, Flyers from the supermarket, Polution can be everything that's anything. That is of course if we do not properlly dispose of the items. When you buy a cany bar, do you throw the wrapper in the garbage? Chances are you don't. That's polution. Now, it's not ok to do so, but "everyone else does it so why can't you"? That's the attitude most people have towards the problem. We have to find a way to solve his problem before it's too late. Let's look at what polution can do to us if we don't do something about it. Our air get's thicker and heavier, which leads to athsma, which leads to unhealty, unactive poeple, which leads to an earlier death age. That's not good is it? Now what about the animals? We throw those plastic beer rings in the water... Let's say

a lake. A little fish innocently swimming along get's caught in one of the rings. It tries to get out but it's struggling too much and get's caught in it even more, eventually the fish runs out of air and dies. That's bad too isn't it? There is much worse that can happen too, but also there are the little things. The little things like, not being able see the sun and the moon and the stars because there is too much smog in the air. or being able to take a deep breath and smell the flowers on a warm summer's day. Instead you get a big whiff of gasoline from a big truck driving by. We seem to take these things for granted, well I know I do. So how can we change that? How can we realize that there's much more to life than sitting at home on our Ikea couches, watching our flat screen, satalitte T.V equipped with internet access, chatting away in a Yahoo chatroom.
