A detailed Summary of Theory of The Big Bang

The big bang theory is the most widely accepted theory to the

beginning of the universe. You may ask, then what was there before the big

bang? Well, it is believed that, " The big bang explosion did not occur in

space; it created space. Before the big bang, neither space nor time nor

matter existed; they were all created in the big bang (Parker 69)."

Approximately 10 to 20 billion years ago the big bang occurred, and

scientists can trace back to 10 to the negative 43 seconds after the big bang,

but no closer. This is because before this moment the idea of gravity is no

longer constant. Dense gas particles were expelled from the big bang, which

expanded at an incredible rate and then began to cool. These "clouds" of gas particles began to break up after millions of years. Eventually, these

smaller clouds collapsed and formed galaxies.

Albert Einstein developed the general theory of relativity in 1915.

These mathematical equations are the basis for the big bang theory. After

seven years, a man named Alexander Friedmann developed solutions to

Einstein's equations and provided the background for the majority of the

theory. At first, Einstein thought that the univer
