The concept of classification can be quite difficult to understand due to the many similarities that exist in what is being classified. There are tiny little details that make objects hard to distinguish from one another. Classification is a way of sorting out the details and finding ways to distinguish one object from another. Classifying things need to exist because that is how we are able to tell things apart. For instance, our society depends on automobiles to get around.
